Total Product Transparency

To demonstrate our commitment to protecting the environment, we comply with globally valid standards. And so our customers can easily understand and compare our lifecycle analyses and environmental product data with those of other materials, we have committed ourselves to a policy of total product transparency. Our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are globally acknowledged and accepted Type III environmental labels conforming to ISO 14025.

Only objectively comparable environmental product balance sheets are meaningful. We use Environmental Product Declarations to openly and voluntarily disclose the ecological balances of our wood-based products.

Each EPD is issued by Germany’s Institute for Construction and Environment (IBU) in a format that was developed in close collaboration with German building and environmental authorities on the basis of international standards.

Our energy management system has also been certified as conforming to DIN EN ISO 50001. You can download this and other certifications under Services -> Downloads -> Certificates.
